I have been saying the same things. The only thing I will add to it is that Mohammed bin Salman’s policy is not solely about the geostratwhic autonomy of Saudi Arabia, it was originally to use Israel and American Jewish leadership to get support from America to come to power and sideline his senior cousins.

Dynastic rule / monarchical system has always sold out religion, country and nation to preserve the family rule, throughout history. We saw that it in Muslim Spain and India in the past centuries

Both Saudi Arabia and UAE are scared more of their citizens getting influenced by Muslim Brotherhood/ Ikhwan and rising up rather than by invasion of an outside power like Iran. Therefore on one hand, they will build the closer ties with Israel and US , and on the other, they will continue to crack down on grassroots organizations, using their police,intelligence and scholars . The scholars will keep telling the people that their rulers know better than them so let them get closer to Israel and build nude beaches.
The answer to the Gulf/Usral/ US/ India alliance is Western Muslims keeping pressure on the U.S. against supporting the tyranny of gulf states and helping the masses there through the internet
